The many fine presentation inscriptions include those of J. R. Bloch, L. P. Fargue, André Gide, V. Larbaud, André Maurois, Paul Morand. Maurice Baring, Joseph Conrad, John Galsworthy, George Moore, Eden Phillpotts, Siegfried Sassoon, Bernard Shaw, Edith, Osbert and Sacheverell Sitwell, H. M. Tomlinson, Hugh Walpole, Humbert Wolfe, and a particulary fine series by H. G. Wells, also bibliography; illustrated books; memoirs; biography; standard and limited editions; works on the fine arts; and a series of his own first editions, which will be sold by auction by Messrs.
