Catalogue of the superb collection or early Irish silver, removed from the National Museum, Dublin, where it has been on loan, comprising rare pieces from Cork, Galway, Kinsale, and Limerick, and a remarkable series from Dublin, comprising Charles II by Edward Swan and Joseph Stoaker, a magnificent William III loving cup and cover, by Thomas Bolton, 1694, rare William III castors [sic], by Anthony Stanley and David King, 1699 and 1701, a remarkable Queen Anne chocolate pot and lamp stand, by Thomas Bolton, 1708, a tankard with the arms of Londonberry, by Thomas Bolton, 1709, a superb cup and cover, by David King, 1707, a set of three fine octogonal castors [sic], by Joseph Walker, 1709, and other late Stuart silver of the highest quality, interesting Georgian silver including a rare early dish ring, etc.; also miniatures of Irish personages or by Irish artists, including Adam and Frederick Buck, J. Comerford, Horace and Nathaniel Hone and S. T. Roch, portraits of Richard Steele, R. B. Sheridan, Lord Edward Fitzgerald, Arthur Duke of Wellington, James 1st Earl of Charlemont, Maria Edgworth, Mrs. Piozzi, and Lady Louisa Conolly; medallions, silhouettes, a few English miniatures, etc., the property of the late G.
