The late Sir Edward Coates collections. Catalogue of the third and final portion of the famous Gardner collection of engravings, drawings, broadsides, &c., illustrating the topographical, architectural and social history of London and its environs, from the earliest to the present times, formed by the late John Edmund Gardner, Esq., at whose death it was inherited by his son, from whom it was purchased, en bloc, in the year 1910, by the late Major Sir Edward Coates, Bt., M.P. (sold by order of the Executors), which will be sold by auction by Messrs. Sotheby, Wilkinson & Hodge, the Rt. Hon. Sir Montague Barlow, P.C., K.B.E., M.P., G. D. Hobson, M.V.O. & F. W. Warre, O.B.E., M.C., C. G. Des Graz, B.A., Miss E. Barlow, auctioneers of literary property & works illustrative of the fine arts, at their large galleries, 34 & 35, New Bond Street, W. (1), on Thursday, the 1st of May, 1924, and following day, and Monday, the 5th of May, and three following days, at one o'clock precisely
