The Sir Edward Coates collections. Catalogue of the collection of framed drawings & oil paintings formed, principally many years ago, by the late Major Sir Edward Coates, Bt., M.P. (sold by order of his Executors), comprising fine drawings in pastel, by John Raphael Smith, Daniel Gardner, Hugh Douglas Hamilton, and other famous artists, choice specimens of the works of John Downman, A.R.A., drawings in crayons and in water-colours by different artists, and a number of oil paintings, mostly of the XVIII century English school, which will be sold by auction by Messrs.
