Catalogue of the valuable and interesting collection of British naval medals formed by admiral the Marquess of Milford Haven (formerly Prince Louis of Battenberg), F.R.N.S., the collection includes Drake's silver map (lot 1), an extremely rare contemporary record of Sir Francis Drake's Voyage round the world, 1577-1580 amongst other interesting medals may be mentionel England's claim to he Dominion of the seas (lots 8, 9, 15), naval rewards (lots 13, 14, 19, 20), the victory of La Hogue (lots 28-38), the expedition to Vigo Bay (lots 43-18), a very fine series relating to admiral Vernon and Porto Bello (lots 63-80), admiral Rodney's actions (lots 94-96), Nelson's victories (lots 111-122), and gold badges for Earl Howe's victory of the first of June, 1794 (lots 166 and 167) which will be sold by auction by Messrs.
