- Edward Sabine Tait (1857?-1939?), médécin, fut élu membre Fellow de la Obstetrical Society of London en 1883 et membre de la Clinical Society of London en 1885
- Il est mentionné dans la rubrique nécrologie de The British Medical Journal du 6 janvier 1940, p. 38, qu'il était collectionneur, notamment d'estampes de maîtres français, anglais et suédois, et pratiquait la sculpture
