(sold by order of the Executors), comprising engravings by H. Aldegrever, H. S. Beham, Lucas Van Leyden, Israel Van Mecken, G. Pencz, Martin Schongauer, A. Altdorfer, Martin Zazinger, and others, etchings by Rembrandt Van Rhyn, engravings and woodcuts by Albert Dürer, French line portraits by R. Nanteuil, P. Drevet, G. Edelinck, A. Masson, R. Gaillard, J. Morin, F. Poilly, P. Van Schuppen, and others, including many in rare first states, specimens of the work of the Italian masters described in volumes XIV and XV of Bartsch; etchings by N. Berghem, Both, W. Hollar, Karl du Jardin, Claude Lorraine [sic], J. H. Roos, J. Ruysdael, J. Suyderhoef, A. Vander Velde, A. Waterloo, F. Weirotter, etc.; early historical portraits by W. Delff, H. - David Ginsburg (1831-1914) fut un érudit spécialiste de la Massore ou Massorah, l'ensemble de la ponctuation et des notes fixant le texte hébraïque de la Bible afin d'en éviter les altérations ; il rédigea de nombreux ouvrages sur le sujet
- Juif polonais, il se convertit au christianisme en 1846, prit alors le nom de Christian David Ginsburg et s'installa en Angleterre à la même période (cf. article paru à la mort de Ginsburg, The Times, 9 mars 1914)
