First day's sale, the Berens collection of fine embroideries, textiles, and costumes from Italy, Greece, Turkey, Asia Minor, China and Japan, comprising an interesting collection of old Italian embroidered coats of arms, and a number of rare Eastern embroideries, including many types seldom seen in this country, the property of Mrs. Randolph Berens, 14 Prince's Gardens, W. Second day's sale, textiles, including fine XVIII century costumes from the Berens collection; Stuart needlework panels; and two fine Elizabethan hangings from old Warnford house, near Bishop's Waltham, Hants; furniture, comprising the property of C. A. Parker, Esq., F.R.C.S., 24 Upper Wimpole Street, W. 1; and the property of Miss V. Treherne, Merton Cottage, Ringmer, Sussex, and including old English furniture in oak, walnut and mahogany—Queen Anne lacquer cabinets—French XVIII century furniture—a fine crystal chandelier, etc.; oriental carpets from Bokhara, Baluchistan, China, etc., which will be sold by auction by Messrs.
