Catalogue of English, continental & Chinese porcelain & pottery, including the collection of Dr. Humphrey Purnell Blackmore, deceased, of Salisbury (sold by order of the executors). The European porcelain comprises Chelsea candlesticks, Plymouth porcelain figures, Crown Derby and other dinner, tea and dessert services, and examples from the Longton Hall, Lowestoft, Bow and Worcester factories, also from Meissen, Chantilly and Dresden; the pottery includes six polychrome Bristol Delft plates by Michael Edkins, Lambeth Delft, salt-glaze and Wrotham ware, continental polychrome Delft and Persian tiles; the Chinese porcelain comprises examples with decoration in blue and white, "Blanc-de-Chine", "Famille Verte" and "Famille Rose", also a rare "Famille Noire" cup and saucer, K'ang-hsi, a pair of hardstone trees, K'ang-hsi, etc., which will be sold by auction by Messrs.
