Wentworth; important contemporary pamphlets relating to the Civil War, the property of Colonel John Harvey; a series of fine illuminated miniatures, the property of Mrs. Simpson Rostron; important Wycliffite manuscripts, the property of the Baroness Lucas; Bunyan, Pilgrim's Progress, first edition, 1678; Shakespeare, first folio, 1623; books with coloured plates; fine bindings; important French illustrated works of the XVIII century; first editions of P. B. Shelley and W. M. Thackeray, etc., the autograph letters comprise the property of the late Richard Bagot, Esq., the property of the late Michael Tomkinson, Esq., and include a letter from Shelley referring to "the necessity of atheism"; a letter from Sterne mentioning "Tristam Shandy"; the original of Canning's famous "rhyming despatch"; two letters from George Washington, etc., etc., which will be sold by auction by Messrs.
