English glass, mostly of the 18th century, including a double jeroboam used by the Derbyshire Hunt Club, c. 1780 ; a pair of candlesticks with bases of concentric rings ; a large goblet engraved with the georgian royal arms ; sweetmeat glasses, including a rare bristol 18th century example ; yards of ale, wine and ale glasses, etc. Second day's sale. English wine and ale glasses, some with coloured twists and one enamelled with festoons ; bristol and nailsea glass, etc., venetian and other foreign glass, including a murano bottle painted with coats of arms ; a murano bowl with decorations in gold ; three small figures of cupids in the style of Nevers, and an important Nevers figure of St. Charles Borromeo ; a curious glass crucifix ; a magnificent engraved german goblet from the collection of the Duke of Buccleuch ; painted german cups, vases, goblets, etc., and five oak show cabinets.
