Catalogue of a collection of English and continental faience and porcelain, formed by the late Mrs. M. S. Hansard, removed from 17a Cadogan Gardens, S. W., comprising Dutch and English Delft tobacco jars, vases, dishes and pharmacy ewers, German stoneware and pottery, Italian majolica and French faience, Leeds, Liverpool, Whieldon and Staffordshire pottery, including busts and figures of Milton, Shelley, and a large series of Staffordshire figures, continental and Oriental porcelain, represented by the wares of Meissen, Sèvres, Vienna, Saint Cloud, Chantilly, Tournay, also Höchst, Ludwigsburg, Furstenburg and Buen Retiro figures, fine English porcelain wares and figures from Worcester, Liverpool, Rockingham, Swansea, Longton Hall, Derby, Chelsea and Bow, including a rare Longton Hall group of Samson and the lion, Chelsea and Bow figures of nuns and monks, Bow figures after Meissen originals, and interesting outside decorated porcelain by James Giles, which will be sold by auction by Messrs. Sotheby and Co., G. D. Hobson, M.V.O., F. W. Warre, O.B.E., M.C., C. G. des Graz, C. V. Pilkington, P. C.
